I bought my first gravel bike from the Primera - Bournemouth store, a week today. It was a very positive experience. They have a great stock of bikes for sale. No waiting ages for a bike ordered online-which is currently the case due recent surge in interest in outdoor activities. No doubts about choosing the right size- you can sit on them! I dealt with Darren from the store. He is very knowledgable and is an enthusiastic gravel bike rider. The ideal combination when you know little about these sort of bikes! He was very patient with my questions as I was not sure about sizing, having come from a road bike. I was fitted to the correct size of the bike that I wanted, after measurements and a modification to the stem length.They really don’t want you to leave with a bike that is not the right size for you. They then set up and let me test-ride 2 identical bikes with different gearing and handlebars, as I wanted to try all the kit options for that bike. I then came in the next day for a final check of the fit and final check over of the bike in the shop, before taking it away. Honestly, this is a real gem of a bike shop. The vibe is so friendly and they can’t do enough to help you. I was so impressed with the service and professionalism of the staff, particularly Darren, that I came in the following day and bought a Mountain bike for my other half from them. I would not hesitate to recommend Primera to anyone.

Spent a great deal of time researching a new bike and the specifications that I wanted. I settled on Primera after several visits, from start to finish I received great customer service. I was so impressed with my first purchase experience that I have recently purchased another bike, again the service was first class. Well done guys - keep it up!!
The customer service is excellent compared to other bike shops in the area. I have only had my bike since September last year 2020 , but I took it back for my free service and pointed out a few issues about the seat and the gears. When I returned they had given me a new seat which was of higher spec and as a gwg, they also sorted out my gears too. Excellent service
Went in to have a look for a bike, and they certainly delivered. There is a large range of bikes, and stock, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A deal was struck so I ended up buying a bike. They prepped it ready in just over half an hour, and helped put it in my car. If interested in biking then definitely visit this place.
I went to buy a bike last summer, The staff never helped me in store and when I asked for helped they were a bit rude. Ended up buying a bike, even though they treated me like a criminal. I thought about buying my parents bikes from here, but I will go elsewhere because of the way i was treated. People don’t forget, even half a year later it bugged me. I have a business, and I don’t treat customers like that.
